Salvation Prayer
Jesus lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and was raised from the dead; therefore, He is the only One who can reconcile us to God. His death on the cross was a sacrifice to pay for our sins, giving God the right to forgive our sins lawfully. His death opened the door to the gift of salvation, which is eternal life. Before Jesus can offer you the gift of eternal life, you must confess with your mouth that He is your Lord and Savior and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:10). If you want to receive the gift of eternal life, say the following prayer earnestly.
Heavenly Father, I confess that I have sinned and have fallen short of Your glory. I thank You for loving me so much that You sent Your only begotten Son, Jesus, to pay the penalty for my sin. With my mouth, I confess that Jesus, the Christ, is my Lord and Savior, and I believe in my heart that You, the one true God, raised Jesus from the dead. Jesus, I now invite You to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
After saying the prayer, read and study the Bible so you know how to live like a child of the Most High God. Reading and studying the Bible will strengthen your relationship with God and increase your faith in Him.
